Tiong Bahru Bakery asked us to capture the scent of brioche in a hand wash. The challenge was to keep its buttery character while making it feel appropriate on skin.

02 / The work
A familiar smell. An unfamiliar form.
We worked with vanilla, caramel and pineapple notes to develop the fragrance, then applied and tested it in a hand soap formulation. The first production run was completed in under eight weeks.
An initial 500 hand washes were produced for sale across Tiong Bahru Bakery outlets. The project extended the bakery’s identity into a daily ritual and attracted media coverage.
